Buying a new home is an exciting time and once you've got the keys it's time to get decorating and put your stamp on every room. To give you some inspiration for your Cerris Home, we've gathered together a few of the hottest interior style trends so far.

Metallic Touches

Covering all budgets, gold accessories are a beautiful way to add a touch of warmth to your home when used sparingly, or for full-on glamour when used liberally. Golden and brass hues have been popular for some time and the explosion of rose gold has trickled into the home departments of most retailers. A perfect partner to most colours in the spectrum, a flash of metallic is a great way to add a little glitz to a room.

Marble

The high street is currently filled with marble-effect home accessories that aren't limited to bathrooms and kitchens. From wallpaper to lamp bases, cushions to cheese boards, you can get the look without breaking the bank by investing in a slab. Perfect for any room, the pale colour with hints of grey veins is a stylish way to bring the outdoors in and works in nearly all spaces.

Blush Pink

Pantone may have declared 'Greenery' its Colour of 2017, but last year's Rose Quartz is still going strong in the biggest colour of the year stakes. The blush hues bring a grown-up essence to the shade and work beautifully with other trends (including marble). Whether its grey, white or even edgier colours like emerald green, rosey tones provide a delicate touch to interiors.

Unfinished Wood

Gone are the days of wall-to-wall mahogany - today its all about natural and unfinished wood thanks to the ever-popular Scandinavian designs. Leave the dark stains behind and introduce paler wood tones into your home to help lighten a room. Complimenting softer colours or providing contrast to bolder hues, unfinised wood combines the rustic nature of the material with the modern trend.

Faux House Plants

Helping everyone to embrace their green-fingered side, faux house plants are a great way to fake it until you make it. Get creative with a variety of indoor hanging methods or simply place around the house for a touch of nature. Hard to tell apart from the real thing, the faux trend is handy for pet owners as delicate flowers won't be destroyed by a rogue tail or paw. But the best part? Never having to water them means you won't feel guilty for forgetting.
